Synensys is proud to announce it has successfully achieved the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 Final status, validated by an authorized Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO). This certification signifies a major milestone in Synensys’ ongoing commitment to defending Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and safeguarding national security.
CMMC Level 2 certification demonstrates Synensys has fully implemented all 110 cybersecurity controls outlined in NIST SP 800‑171, verified by rigorous third-party assessment. This level of cybersecurity preparedness ensures high-order protection across 14 control families, including access control, incident response, audit and accountability, and data protection.
”"Earning CMMC Level 2 reflects disciplined execution and our commitment to protecting the data entrusted to us. This certification reinforces Synensys’ readiness to safeguard sensitive information and serve as a trusted partner to the defense community."

Under the Final Rule effective November 10, 2025, CMMC Level 2 certification via a C3PAO is now a contractual requirement for any organization handling CUI in DoD contracts. Beyond regulatory compliance, the certification reduces Synensys’ risk of cyber threats, enhances its operational resilience, and strengthens its market competitiveness. The award affirms the company’s systematic cybersecurity approach, supported by documented policies, employee training, and continuous monitoring, all validated through independent assessment.
As the DoD transitions to fully phased-in CMMC enforcement (Levels 1 and 2 in 2025–2027), Synensys is well-positioned for expanded growth in national security contracts, and we are thrilled to hold this certification as a testament to our unwavering commitment to cybersecurity excellence and innovation.
