Synensys Patient Safety Specialist Accepts Commission to Naval Medical Forces Atlantic
The Synensys team would like to proudly congratulate Sarah Stalsworth, Patient Safety Specialist on her acceptance as a Direct Commission Officer in the Medical Service Corps as a Healthcare Administrator. She is entering the program with 6 years prior services as a Navy Hospital Corpsman. Her first assignment will be with Naval Medical Forces Atlantic at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA.
In the brief time Sarah was with us at Synensys, she made significant contributions to the development of Defense Health Agency (DHA) Patient Safety Specialists. She actively participated in peer development sessions, providing encouragement and support to the newest members of the Synensys Patient Safety team. She also created a simplified training presentation to help users understand and navigate the DHA Safety Event Reporting and Corrective Actions (SERCA) Tool, an application that allows for real-time, self-directed analysis of a variety of patient safety data sources.
We all congratulate Sarah on her advancement and wish her continued success in her healthcare and patient safety journey!
