In her new role, Samantha will lead efforts to optimize health data workflows, ensuring that complex information from diverse sources, including electronic health records, lab testing, and prescription drug data, is captured, standardized, and transformed into actionable insights. Her ability to map clinical workflows, model data flows, and translate stakeholder needs into clear technical requirements will help Synensys deliver solutions that bridge the gap between clinicians, data teams, and engineering groups.
Samantha’s proven track record includes managing large-scale surveillance systems for federal agencies like the CDC and FDA, advancing projects that integrate cutting-edge technologies. She has spearheaded initiatives using AI tools such as computer vision and large language models to streamline data analysis and improve efficiency. Her experience in terminology harmonization, medical record abstraction, and analytics supporting prescription drug shortages demonstrates her commitment to solving critical healthcare challenges.
Holding a Master of Public Health degree in Biostatistics and maintaining a Top-Secret clearance, Samantha is passionate about ensuring data quality and driving innovation to advance population health. Her expertise will play a pivotal role in supporting Synensys’ mission to improve safety and performance across healthcare systems.
